Vol. 298 No. 2

Written Answers. - County Offaly Estate.

73.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he is aware that a farm of 214 statute acres at Knockarlow, County Offaly, is to be sold by public auction; and if, in view of the large number of small farmers in the surrounding area, the Land Commission will purchase the estate for division.

I understand that the Land Commission have no proceedings for the acquisition of the property referred to but they are having inquiries made in the matter.
