asked the Minister for Finance if he will give a breakdown of the £60 million tax revenue buoyancy in the 1977 budget as between customs and excise duties, VAT, income tax and other taxes.

Of the additional revenue buoyancy generated by the budgetary measures in 1977, £33 million arises under income tax, £17 million under customs and excise duties and £10 million under value-added tax.
