It is proposed to enlarge Magherarney national school so as to provide a total of six classrooms and a general purposes room. A sketch plan has been completed in the Office of Public Works and is being submitted to my Department for consideration. When the plan is approved, the Department will communicate with the reverend chairman who acts for the school trustees, regarding the provision of a local contribution and, in the event of additional ground being required, the production of documentary evidence of title.
I cannot say at present when work will commence.
