The audited accounts of University College, Dublin, for the year ended 30th September, 1976, showed an excess of income over expenditure of £234,154. The Higher Education Authority took this excess into account when deciding upon the financial allocation to be made to the college for 1977. The level of university fees is a matter for the university authorities concerned.
