asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will arrange to have a retirement pension paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork who retired on 4th February, 1977.

The person concerned reached age 65, the qualifying age for retirement, on 1st March, 1977, and retired from work on that date. Retirement pension at the maximum rate of £20.85 from 3rd March, 1977, increased to £22.75 from 31st March, 1977, which includes an increase of pension in respect of his wife, has been awarded to him. Pension books containing orders payable from 3rd March, 1977, were issued to him on 21st April, 1977.
