Vol. 298 No. 12

Written Answers. - County Sligo River Drainage.

38.

asked the Minister for Finance if the Owenmore and Arrow rivers in County Sligo are on a priority list for drainage; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The Owenmore (Sligo) including the Lough Arrow catchment is listed No. 16 on the priority list of major catchments to be considered for treatment under the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945.

An engineering survey of this catchment has been completed and the processing of data is proceeding with a view to the preparation of an arterial drainage scheme.
