Vol. 298 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Dublin School Association.

4.

asked the Minister for Education whether he has received a request for an interview from the Marley and District School Association, County Dublin: and when the Association can expect to have the request granted.

I have received a request for an interview from the Marley and District School Association, together with some literature relating to the association's proposal for the establishment of a multi-denominational national school in the Marley area.

I have had many requests from various individuals and associations for interviews. I cannot, at the moment, say when it would be possible for me to see the Marley and District School Association but I will do so as soon as possible.

The case they are going to make, and I can make it on their behalf——

You may not make that case now, Deputy. This is Question Time.

They are seeking an interview and in the course of the interview they are going to ask the Government what their attitude is in relation to multi-denominational education. The third plank in their——

The Deputy knows that speeches are not in order. Question No. 5, please.

These are questions which the Minister is avoiding and you are conspiring with him to avoid.

That is a disgraceful allegation.
