Vol. 299 No. 2

Written Answers. - Galway Reservoir.

81.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will approve the contract documents proposed for the reservoirs at Daingean and Clifden Hill, Galway.

Approval of the contract documents for the Galway city west water supply augmentation scheme, which includes the reservoirs at Clifden Hill, will be considered when work on the new water treatment scheme at Terrylands is further advanced. The reservoirs, each having a capacity of 1.5 million gallons, will be supplied from the latter scheme on which work has recently commenced.
