Students who wish to enter the National College of Art and Design are eligible for awards under the Higher Education Grants Scheme and the Commemoration Scholarships Scheme of Easter Week 1916 and scholarships under the schemes operated by vocational education committees. The college itself awards ten scholarships annually to students of the college. In addition, students are eligible to compete for scholarships generally made available to third-level students by outside bodies.
