Sketch plans for a new Garda station and residence at Manorhamilton have been prepared and consultation is proceeding with the planning authority. Assuming that no problems arise, it is expected that tenders will be invited before the end of the year.
Does this complex include a new labour exchange?
Yes.
Will both go ahead together?
I have not that information but I will communicate with the Deputy afterwards.
Is the Parliamentary Secretary quite happy and confident that work will commence on these buildings this year?
Yes.
