Vol. 299 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Telephone Service.

30.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will consider providing a public telephone kiosk outside the post office at Finuge village, Listowel, County Kerry.

The use made of the call office telephone in the post office is not sufficient to warrant provision of a kiosk in Finuge at present.

31.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will arrange, as a matter of urgency, for the erection of a public telephone kiosk in each of the following areas in Killarney town, County Kerry (a) Pinewood estate (b) Ardshanavooley estate and (c) Coolegrean Park.

The use made of the existing kiosks serving the three areas referred to by the Deputy is not sufficient to justify the provision of additional kiosks in these areas at present.
