Vol. 299 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Longford School.

3.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will ensure that the Office of Public Works will finish work on the school yard at Kenagh national school, County Longford, by finishing the laying of a water and sewerage system and by putting a hard top on the school yard.

The Office of Public Works have advised the Reverend chairman of the school board of management regarding the proposed improvement of the sewage system. It is understood that a contractor is about to commence operations.

Part of the surface of the concrete playground has become worn and holed. The renewal work is considered to be a maintenance item and is therefore a local liability.
