Levels of fluoridation are at present monitored throughout the country by health boards. Results of tests for fluorine levels are collated by the Department of Health. A comprehensive circular, outlining, in relation to fluoridation, the respective responsibilities of health boards, local authorities and the Department of Health has been prepared and will be issued in the near future to the authorities concerned.
