andMr. Keaveney asked the Minister for Agriculture if he is aware of alleged irregularities in the payment of slaughter premiums by a meat factory (name supplied) to farmers; and the action he has taken in the matter.

Exhaustive investigations carried out by officers of my Department following a complaint received, failed to establish that the meat factory in question was involved in any irregularities in the payment of slaughter premiums to farmers.
