Vol. 301 No. 1

Written Answers. - School Transport.

441.

asked the Minister for Education if he will make school transport available to children (names supplied) in County Offaly who attend Killina school, for which school transport has been provided in this area for the last ten years.

Three of the four families concerned reside less than two miles from Pullough national school and are not therefore eligible for free transport. The fourth family mentioned reside more than two miles from Pullough national school and are eligible for free transport to that school. As however there is no transport service to Pullough national school from their area the children of this family may as a special concession avail of farepaying facilities to Killina/Rahan national school provided that there is room on the bus and that they make their way to the established route of the service at Kelly's Cross, Derry-cooley.
