The total number of unemployment assistance recipients is 72,701. This figure includes 25,810 smallholders. The total number of single men recipients is estimated at 29,644. The total number of adult dependants, mainly wives, is estimated at 40,786 and the total number of child dependants is estimated at 105,998.
