It is not my policy to place restrictions on the activities mentioned by the Deputy. Accordingly the remainder of the question does not arise.
May I take it that it is in order for individuals who are employed by State-sponsored bodies to take part in political and trade union activities if they so wish?
I have indicated to the Deputy that it is not my policy to place restrictions on such activities. If the Deputy is aware of such restrictions and feels that the matter ought to be pursued, I will look into it if he draws it to my attention.
