Information on the number of local authority houses sold to tenants and other persons is available in my Department on a financial year basis. Seperate figures for houses sold to persons other than tenants are not available, but the number of such houses in recent years is relatively small.
The numbers of local authority houses sold in each financial year since April 1972 are as follows:
