Vol. 303 No. 2

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order: Nos. 1, 5 (resumed), 6 and 4. Business will be interrupted at 3.30 p.m. to take No. 4 and the order will be resumed thereafter.

On the order of business, could I ask the Taoiseach if he proposes to provide time for Government discussion of or to make a statement on the abandonment by his Minister for Fisheries of the Irish case for a 50-mile coastal band and the acceptance of a limitation on the fish catch at last year's level?

I do not accept the imputation in the Deputy's question, but the question of the debate can be considered at a later stage.

I wish it to be discussed between the Whips immediately in view of the urgency of the situation.
