Vol. 304 No. 7

Written Answers. - Harold's Cross (Dublin) Welfare Home.

466.

asked the Minister for Health the present position concerning the provision of a welfare home at Harold's Cross, Dublin; when it is expected that work on the home will commence; and if he will give a tentative estimate of the length of time it will take to complete the work.

I have made funds available to the Eastern Health Board in the current year's capital programme for the provision of a welfare home for the aged at Harold's Cross.

It is expected that detailed planning of the home will take eight to ten months. Work will commence on the site late this year or early in 1979, and it will take approximately 18 months to build and commission the home.
