asked the Minister for Education if he will indicate the present position regarding the provision of a new primary school at Crossmahon, Bandon, County Cork.
With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 432 and 433 together.
Sketch plans for a new national school at Crossmahon have been prepared by the Office of Public Works.
Documentary evidence of title to the school site has been furnished recently by the reverend chairman and, if accepted as satisfactory, my Department will sanction a grant in the case.
It is not possible, at this stage, to say when the building work will commence.
