asked the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Energy if any information is available regarding trade with South Africa during 1977; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The particulars requested by the Deputy are in the form of a tabular statement which, I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle to have circulated with the Official Report.

In addition I would direct the Deputy to the reply given to Question No. 28 on 7 December, columns 920-921, Volume 302 of the Official Report.
