asked the Minister for Fisheries why a retirement pension and gratuity has not been paid to a person in County Offaly (details supplied), who retired from his Department three months ago.

The relevant gratuity in this case was paid in the normal course on 20 April. Payment of pension will be made by the Paymaster General's Office with retrospective effect to 31 December 1977.
