: Information is not available in my Department in the form requested by the Deputy. Claims and allocations made in each of the two years mentioned to finance new house building work for local authorities have related to particular categories of work or particular periods of these years. No separate allocations were made for new work to be started over the whole year. Initial allocations for existing commitments, and supplementary allocations made later in the year to individual authorities, include amounts in respect of new work as well as work in progress. No records are kept of the separate categories covered by these allocations.
