asked the Minister for the Environment the total cost of the new Childer's Road in Limerick, and the date on which work commenced on the road.

: Details of the final cost of this scheme are not yet available. The total cost is currently estimated by Limerick Corporation at £338,000. Grants totalling £298,916 have been allocated to date for the scheme and additional grants as required will be allocated to meet the full cost. Work commenced in January 1977.

asked the Minister for the Environment the total cost of the new bridge and access road works at Annacrotty near Limerick; and when work commenced.

: Details of the final cost of the road and bridge works at Annacrotty are not yet available but it is currently estimated by Limerick County Council at approximately £550,000. The sum of £350,000 has been allocated to date for the scheme and the full cost will be met by road grants. The works commenced in August, 1976.
