Grants totalling £298,916 have been allocated to date for the scheme and additional grants as required will be allocated to meet the full cost. Work commenced in January 1977.

: Details of the final cost of the road and bridge works at Annacrotty are not yet available but it is currently estimated by Limerick County Council at approximately £550,000. The sum of £350,000 has been allocated to date for the scheme and the full cost will be met by road grants. The works commenced in August, 1976.
