The claimant appealed against this decision and an appeals officer has since allowed her claim. Payment of all unemployment benefit due to the claimant will be made without delay.

: Payment of unemployment benefit was made to the person concerned last week. The delay in making payment was due to the fact that certain inquiries had to be completed regarding the claimant's availability for work.

: The necessary inquiries to establish the amount of pay-related benefit and redundancy weekly payments payable in this case have not yet been completed. Every effort is being made to finalise these inquiries and to have payment made as soon as possible.

: Non-contributory old age pensions at the maximum rate have been awarded to the persons concerned by the decisions of an appeals officer. The pension order books were issued on 15 June 1978 and arrears due were issued on the next day.
