: The question of the future status of the art department of the Dún Laoghaire Technical Institute is one about which it will be necessary for me to consult the Higher Education Authority because of their statutory responsibilities. I am not in a position to make a statement until that has been done.
I may add, for information, that the NCEA will continue to make awards to students of the college for a further three years.
