Vol. 307 No. 12

Written Answers . - An Foras Forbartha Accommodation .

211.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he is satisfied that the accommodation presently occupied by An Foras Forbartha is adequate; if he has any plans for providing new accommodation for this body; and, if so, the proposals which are being considered for it at present.

212.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he considers that the Royal Hospital, Kilmainham, Dublin, currently under restoration would provide a suitable venue and range of accommodation for An Foras Forbartha; if An Foras have reviewed the possibility of being accommodated in these premises at Kilmainham; and, if so, the outcome of that review.

213.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he considers that a research institute like An Foras Forbartha should, in the interests of consolidating urban settlements, be established in a central city location such as the Royal Hospital, Kilmainham, Dublin, rather than located in a new suburban location on the outskirts of the city.

: With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 211, 212 and 213 together. The question of accommodation for An Foras Forbartha is primarily a matter for that organisation who, I understand, are currently examining both the short-term and the long-term possibilities.
