The following posts in the National Museum are vacant at present:—
(a) Keeper of Folklife Division— vacant since 12 June 1978. The filling of the post is at present under consideration.
(b) Assistant Keeper, Natural History Division—vacant since 1968. There were unusual difficulties in filling this post but as a temporary solution the post is blocked by a supernumerary Assistant.
(c) Two Technical Assistants— one vacant since 2 August 1978 and one vacant since 29 September 1978. Open competitions to fill these posts are being arranged and will be announced shortly.
