Vol. 313 No. 6

Written Answers. - County Cork Water Supply Scheme.

283.

asked the Minister for the Environment when the additional expenditure required to bring the proposed water supply scheme at Ballygarvan, County Cork, into line with both county council requirements will be sanctioned.

Cork County Council approved of the design of this scheme subject to the use of increased pipe sizes to cater for further development. The council are now being asked whether they would be prepared to make a special contribution of £40,514 to the group to cover the extra cost involved in using the larger pipes. Such a contribution will rank for State loan and subsidy.
