In accordance with normal usage the average weekly cost per occupied hospital bed is based on cost information extracted from the accounts relating to hospitals which are in full use. It will be some time before information on such lines is available in realtion to the Cork Regional Hospital which is not as yet fully occupied. Information in relation to a hospital which is only partially occupied would not reflect the situation which would obtain when the hospital as a whole is in full use.
