Vol. 313 No. 11

Written Answers. - Blood and Kidney Donors.

277.

asked the Minister for the Public Service if he will arrange for information and other data including application forms to be delivered to all public service employees on how and why people should become blood and kidney donors.

In relation to the blood transfusion service, I understand that the arrangements at present in operation for obtaining blood donations from public servants are satisfactory. As regards kidney donation, I would be glad to facilitate the distribution to public service employees of the information material referred to by the Deputy and this matter is being considered in conjunction with the Minister for Health and the Health Education Bureau.
