asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs (a) the total estimated loss of departmental revenue to date and (b) the total estimated loss of employees wages, arising from the Post Office dispute.

It is estimated that the total loss in postal and telecommunications revenue arising from the Post Office dispute is about £17.5 million to date and that the total loss of employees' wages is about £14.5 million.
