I am having a proposal for a half-decker landing pier at Cave, Clarinbridge, examined in conjunction with suggestions by the local fishermen for improved landing facilities at nearby Ballinacourty. Until the technical report on these proposals is received and examined in my Department I cannot say what grant, if any, can be made available in the fisheries interest for improvement works at Cave.
