asked the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Energy when the advance factories in Buncrana, County Donegal will be completed and if the area is being promoted for industry.
With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 226 and 227 together.
I am informed by the Industrial Development Authority that the following advance factories are at present under construction in County Donegal.

It is expected that the construction of all these factories will be completed within the next four months or so. The building of a further 24,000 sq. ft. advance factory at Letterkenny is scheduled to commence shortly.
The County Donegal area is being actively promoted by the IDA for new industry.
