asked the Minister for Education if grants can be paid to the Convent of Mercy School, Kilkee, County Clare for basketball and tennis courts.
With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 250 and 251 together.
A formal application for grant assistance towards the extension of the accommodation at the Convent of Mercy Secondary School, Kilkee, including the cost of a basketball and tennis courts, was received by my Department on 18 April 1979, and is under consideration. The manager will be advised of the out-come as soon as possible.
