When in 1976 the applicant applied for assistance towards the cost of her training at St. Angela's College of Home Economics, Sligo, the relevant income did not render her eligible for assistance on grounds of financial means. My Department have not been informed of any change in the financial circumstances of the parents which would render the applicant eligible for an allowance at this stage.
