Vol. 315 No. 1

Written Answers. - County Dublin Health Centre.

79.

asked the Minister for Health the steps it is intended to take to improve the existing facilities at the Malahide Health Centre pending the acquisition of land and the building of a replacement centre.

Pending the construction of a new major health centre at Yellow Walls, Malahide, the Eastern Health Board are considering alternative proposals for extending the existing facilities in Malahide, including the acquisition of a suitable alternative site or premises and the feasibility of increasing the accommodation available in the existing health centre.

The board are also negotiating the acquisition of a site for a new health centre in Portmarnock, which would relieve pressure on the services in Malahide.
