45.

andMr. L'Estrange asked the Minister for Finance where in University College, Dublin the archaeological objects discovered at the Church of St. Mel, Ardagh, County Longford and referred to in his reply to Question No. 20 of 29 May 1979 are available for public inspection, if they are on permanent public display or may be seen only by appointment and if he will arrange for the display of some of the objects near to their place of origin in County Longford.

The objects discovered at the Church of St. Mel, Ardagh, County Longford, are available for inspection in the Department of Modern History, University College Dublin. Arrangements to see them can be made through Mr. Liam de Paor of that Department. I have no function in regard to the display of the objects in question.
