Vol. 315 No. 11

Written Answers. - Disability Benefit.

30.

andMr. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Social Welfare why disability benefit has not been paid to a person (details supplied) since approximately 1 March last and if he will arrange for immediate payment of all arrears.

Disability benefit and pay-related benefit were paid to the person concerned to 21 May 1979 after which date he was certified by his doctor as fit to resume work.

Information recently received as to his reckonable earnings in the relevant income tax year governing the portion of his claim from 2 April 1979 to 21 May 1979 indicates that he is entitled to a further payment of pay-related benefit.

The necessary adjusting payment has now issued to him.
