The number of applications received under the farm modernisation scheme in County Mayo between 1 July 1977 and 30 June 1979 was 1,804. During the same period 1,827 cases were processed; these included applications received before 1 July 1977.
The number of applications under or awaiting investigation as at 30 June 1979 was 870.
In general applications are processed within 4-6 months of receipt.
