asked the Taoiseach the total cost of (a) all imported goods for 1978 and (b) all exported goods for 1978.

In the year 1978 imports were valued at £3,706.5 million and exports at £2,959.2 million.

3.

asked the Taoiseach the value of exports of the following for each of the past five years: (i) agriculture, (ii) industrial goods, (iii) ore, including dolomite.

With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to circulate in the Official Report a statement giving the information requested by the Deputy.
