122.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when telephone service will be provided for an applicant (details supplied) in Dublin.

Service will be provided as soon as possible after the necessary cable becomes available in about six months.

123.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if an application for a telephone service has been received from an old age pensioner (details supplied) and, if so, when service will be provided.

An application has been received for service at the address concerned but it is not in the name of the particular person referred to by the Deputy. Provision of service is dependent on a cabling scheme which is not expected to be completed before the middle of next year. Service will be provided as soon as possible after this work is completed.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when telephone service will be provided for an applicant (details supplied) in Dublin in view of the circumstances.

Terms will be quoted to the applicant concerned shortly.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a transfer of telephone service will be completed for an applicant (details supplied) in Dublin in view of the four year delay to date.

The present application by the person referred to was made last November, his previous application having been cancelled in 1975. Provision of service is dependent on major underground cabling works which are not expected to be completed before the end of next year.

The necessary cable to serve the applicant is not expected to become available until the latter half of 1980.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when telephone service will be provided for an applicant (details supplied) and if priority treatment will be given in this case in view of the circumstances.

Service will be provided for the applicant concerned (whose circumstances are not considered to warrant priority treatment) and other waiting applicants in the estate when the necessary cable becomes available in about six months.
