asked the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Energy the plans, if any, for the erection of an advance factory in Tipperary town.

18.

asked the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Energy when the advance factories scheduled for Carrick-on-Suir and Cashel, County Tipperary, will be completed.

With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 16, 17 and 18 together.

I am informed by the Industrial Development Authority that there are no plans at present for the construction of new advance factories in Fethard or Tipperary town. The authority have provided two advance factories in Tipperary town in recent years, both of which are occupied. The authority are actively promoting their seven-acre site at Fethard for suitable industry.

The two 24,000 square foot advance factories under construction by the IDA at Carrick-on-Suir and Cashel are scheduled for completion before the end of 1979.
