Vol. 315 No. 16

Written Answers. - School Heating.

65.

asked the Minister for Education if he has received a circular from the Catholic Primary School Managers' Association concerning school heating and the action he proposes to take to meet the points raised therein.

I have received a letter on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Dublin Council of the Catholic Primary School Managers' Association requesting me to take whatever steps are necessary to ensure an adequate supply of oil to keep classrooms at a temperature suitable for both pupils and teachers.

It is my intention to take appropriate action accordingly. The particular measures to be adopted will be related to the findings of a full assessment of the situation which has already been initiated by me.
