(Cavan-Monaghan) asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware of the delay and difficulty being experienced by Cavan County Council in securing a site for a housing scheme at Ballyhaise from the Office of Public Works; and if in view of the great need for houses in this area he will expedite the matter and have a site made available without further delay.

The Office of Public Works does not own or administer any land at Ballyhaise and has had no dealings with Cavan County Council about housing sites there. I have no responsibility whatever in this matter.
