Vol. 315 No. 16

Written Answers. - UK Pensioner.

119.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare if compensation will be given to an old age pensioner (details supplied) in Dublin in receipt of a British pension who is sustaining a loss of £1 per week due to the break with sterling.

The question of the payment of British pensions to persons residing in this country is, as I have already stated in reply to a general question by the Deputy on this matter, at present under discussion between officials of my Department and officials of the British Ministry of Health and Social Security.
