The clerical staff at the Cork District Veterinary Office has recently been increased substantially. Additional field staff will also be assigned to the county shortly when candidates from the recent competition for recruitment of agricultural officers become available. The position is being kept under review and the staff assigned to disease eradication duties in County Cork will be further augmented should the need arise.
