I would refer the Deputy to a reply which I gave to a similar question on 18 October 1978. I would add that in the meantime
—the Industrial Development Authority have acquired a 29-acre site which will be promoted for suitable industry,
—construction of the 15,000 sq. ft. cluster development has been completed; two of the four units have already been reserved for small industrial projects.
The IDA are alive to the urgent need to create more male jobs in manufacturing industry in Castlebar and the authority's efforts will continue to be directed to that end.
