The special schemes to provide skimmed milk powder at reduced prices for animal feed, other than calf feed, were suspended by the EEC Commission from 23 October because of the tight supply situation for skimmed powder. Their re-introduction will be considered by the Commission next spring in consultation with the Milk Management Committee in the light of the Community market situation at that time.
